Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and FinanceControl governing access to and use of the FinanceControl website, application, and related services (the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (and not younger than 16) to create an account.

You represent that information you provide is accurate and that you will keep credentials confidential.

You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk, or abuse the Service.

FinanceControl provides personal finance tools including budgeting and expense tracking interfaces, investment and loan calculators, reports, market/FX related utilities, and an AI assistant experience.

Features may be added, changed, or discontinued. Some capabilities depend on third-party or backend gateway availability.

Content, calculators, scores, and AI outputs are for informational and educational purposes only.

They do not constitute investment, tax, legal, accounting, or other professional advice. You remain solely responsible for financial decisions.

You agree not to: reverse engineer the Service except where permitted by law; probe or disrupt systems; upload malware; scrape at abusive rates; impersonate others; or use the Service for unlawful activity.

You may not use automated means to create accounts or extract data without our written permission.

The Service, including software, design system, branding, and documentation, is owned by FinanceControl or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal or internal purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You retain rights to content you submit; you grant us a license to host and process that content solely to operate the Service.

The Service may integrate or link to third-party APIs, market data, authentication, or hosting providers. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services.

We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or accuracy of external data feeds.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that calculations, rates, or AI responses are error-free or suitable for your specific situation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FinanceControl and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one thousand Indian rupees (₹1,000).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FinanceControl from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access with or without notice for breach, risk, or operational reasons.

Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence require otherwise.

Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer rights.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, additional notice in the product.

Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
